Lotus by LOA required both a content management system and an e-commerce solution. Verge Studios decided to build upon the ZenCart e-commerce system, greatly adding to its existing content management capabilities. In addition to a custom inventory management solution including automated processing and sending of orders to a wholesale fulfilment centre, Verge Studios provided high quality photo editing services, making sure that all products were displayed revealing their best attributes.

Lotus by LOA's focus on fair trade products from disadvantaged communities required significant code customization to associate products with their back story. Verge Studios is proud to been part of a project that helped bring products from disadvantaged communities to consumer markets.
