Verge Studios is continuously looking for talented individuals to help us out in a number of projects and capacities. We are looking to expand our team with highly motivated and driven individuals who can turn around work in an incredibly(!) short amount of time. General recruitment
We are looking for talented individuals in the following fields (you do not need to match all of them, just a couple):
- Languages: HTML, CSS, Flash, Action Script, PHP, Ruby, Python, Javascript (prototype, jquery)
- Frameworks: CodeIgnitor, Merb, Django
- Server Admin: Linux (Ubuntu), MySQL
- Mobile: Android and iPhone / iPad programming
Specific positions
Off site (You work from a location of your choice) entry level LAMP programmer (Hourly rate):
The ideal candidate would have some experience in programming web applications in PHP and MySQL. Furthermore the candidate should understand the general concept of MVC frameworks, specifically CodeIgnitor. Being able to take a static HTML/CSS template and creating a dynamic and event driven page is an essential asset. Experience with Joomla or Wordpress are always welcome and will put a candidate ahead of the pack. This is an entry level position, but the candidate is expected to learn fast and work hard. Be prepared to spend a lot of time reading up and researching the technologies we employ and the standards we have set. If you work hard, you will be rewarded.
